Away from downtown Ubud are more great eating options. Here are a few good ones.

South Ubud:

This French Cafe located in Pengosekan offers crepes, salads and juices. Relaxing outdoor
environment.

Located south of the ARMA museum, this place serves seafood and Thai cuisine. Elegant
setting with outdoor relaxing upstairs area.

Located on Jl. Sukma. Serves good juices and popular snacks.

North / West Ubud:
Heading west along Jl. Raya Ubud, the road swings north at Campuhan and heads north towards Sanggingan. From Campuhan there is a turnoff heading west towards Penestenan and Sayan. All these areas have eating options and someone staying in downtown Ubud could access them easily either with their own transport or with a taxi.

  • Murni’s Warung
Located on the bend at Jl. Raya Campuhan, Murni’s is a famous place. Multi-level design, serving Asian and western food, good desserts. Good for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Associated with Casa Luna, Indus is located on Jl. Raya Campuhan. Great views of the rice valley behind and serving Asian fusion cuisine.

Located directly opposite the Neka Museum. Great streetside place with bbq ribs giant burgers and martinis. Good for lunch.

Penestenan

  • Gajah Biru
Located on Jl. Raya Penestenan, the windy little street that leads west up the hill from Campuhan. Candlelit watergarden makes it ideal for dinner. Food is Indian cuisine.

Good place for lunch. Open setting with plenty of fresh air. Serves tourist favourites.

  • Ibu Putih’s Warung
Family run warung serving local food. Fun, cheap and friendly. Good for lunch.

Sayan

  • Red Rice
Located on Jl. Raya Sayan across from Sayan Terrace. Interesting menu with Asian and western styles. Calls itself a ‘warung with wine’.
