Blahmantung: A mountain waterfall in tranquil a setting

Blahmantung waterfall is located in the Pupuan area of Tabanan. This part of Bali is very fertile and recieves a lot of rain. To get to Blanmantung waterfall from Kuta, head towards Tabanan, taking a right turn at Antosari. That will take you in the direction of Pupuan and Seririt.

There is a sign saying ‘Tourist Object’ that is located on a narrow street just south of Pupuan. This waterfall take about 40 minutes to hike to from the road. There is a shop at the bottom selling drinks to locals, and you do not need a ticket.
You can swim here, or at least go for a soak in the shallow water. Best time to go is Jan-Mar. I went there back in 2003 with some friends and it rained the whole time. Still nice to get out and explore. Footing can be a little tricky, espcially as the place is wet and had moss growing on the path. Old people might now want to do this. After a dip in Blahmantung waterfall, drive down to Sanda Butik Villas in Sanda for a nice meal or drink. You can also stay at Sanda Butik Villas and enjoy the tranquility of the mountains.
