Bale Bali: Jl. Kunti Seminyak

Bale Bali refers to a open sided structure that supports a bamboo roof. You will see these all over Bali and locals love to lounge under them on a sunny day. Bale Bali on Jl. Kunti is a Chinese Indonesian place that has a selection of items that appeal to locals and foreigners. I used to go there a couple of years ago and since then they have expanded.

There are clues to the Chinese influence, formerly with large red Chinese lanterns and now with a Dim Sum sign outside. The menu is divided into: Appetizer (Chinese pork bun 7,500rp), Soup (Sup Jagung 15,000rp), Main Courses which are divided into Beef (Ida Sapi Madu Bakar 40,000rp), Chicken (Ayam Madu Bakar 32,000rp), Fish (Tuna Teriyaki Sauce with Mayonaisse 45,000rp), Crab (Kepiting Rebus – in season), Nasi & Mie- Rice & Noodle ( Nasi Goreng ( 20,000rp), Side Dishes ( Cap Cay Goreng 25,000rp).

The atmosphere is relaxed and is a cool quiet place to take a date. Bale Bali is open from 11am-11.30pm
