St Paddy’s Day in Bali

Laura and the crew are back in Perth Australia, but I can tell exactly where they are right now, Moose McGillicuddy’s Bar & Grill, knocking back pints of green beer and getting sloshed to the sound of Irish music. Its St. Paddy’s Day (March 17th ) and people will be celebrating. Here in Bali I am sure many of the bars will latch on to the theme and dress there dancers in green etc. One place that will definately have a party are Gracie Kelly’s on Jl. Kartika Plaza. Its an Irish themed place serving Guiness and other beer. If you are in a group, take a long look at the menu before getting stuck into a drinking session, the prices aren’t for the faint hearted.

The Cat & Fiddle in Sanur would be a fun place also, as would StreetLife on Jl. Oberoi in Seminyak. Hell its Friday night, its always fun in Seminyak.

Personally I will be celebrating at home with a pint of Guinness. I have a soar throat and a bit of a cold so will hold things down. Here in Bali they don’t have Guinness on tap in places that serve it. Anker Stout and Panther Stout are 2 other options as well as Storm beer’s stout. Maybe you just don’t care and want a Jim Beam & Coke. Good on yer! Where ever you go have a great St. Paddy’s Day and be careful getting home.
