X-treme Store: Kuta Galeria Bali

Camping stores are places I like checking out and in Bali there are no real camping stores. Yesterday however I came across a place in the Kuta Galeria that accommodates the local camping market and offers bargains for tourists. Located next to the climbing wall, X-treme specializes in merchandise made by Eiger. Prices for gear is as follows: Teva-like sandals for 72,500rp, athletic shoes for 390,000rp, long olive pants for 189,000rp, camera pouches for 69,000rp, folding serrated knife for 47,500rp, day pack for 125,000rp, wool beanie hat for 50,000rp, small handbag for 125,000rp, backpacks for 395,000rp, computer bags for 295,000rp.

Rock climbing equipment included belay devices, reals of climbing rope and other bits and pieces climbers might need. I did not see any harnesses or climbing shoes. Camping pots and burners were available as were sleeping bags. They also stock Sigg aluminum water bottles (1 liter for 135,000rp).

X-Treme Store is open from 9.30am-9pm daily.
