British holiday makers like terror target deals

According to the Sun newspaper (is the Sun actually classified as a newspaper?) British tourists are quite happy visiting ‘terror targets’ like the Middle East and Bali, because they can get more for their money.

Its true that a lot of the hype you read on CNN, BBC and mainstream media, makes these places sounds like a shooting gallery, where they are waiting for you as you step off the plane. Of course its nothing like that, but it is true that when places empty out, you stand a better chance of getting deals.

Talking to Laura the other day, we disguised growing up, her in Northern Ireland, me in London. I remember there always being alerts about packages on transport and having the latest bomb on a TV newsflash. Laura said in Belfast it wasn’t a bomb once in a while, it was a bomb once a week. After a while I think you get used to it in a funny kind of way and maybe the London bomb just made people realize again it could happen anywhere so don’t stress it.

Hopefully plenty of British people will tan their lily white bodies on Kuta Beach this year, bringing in valuable foreign currency.
