Nusa Dua is a place for privacy and luxury. It is designed to shut out the world and let you enjoy your holiday in style. That's all good, but if you decide you'd like a little interaction with the outside world how do you go about organizing it? If you are staying in a resort hotel in Nusa Dua or Tanjung Benoa you can arrange car rental through your hotel, which will be a tad expensive. If you are staying and a budget place, or just want to save money there is a selection of small operators along Jl. Pratama, the main road that heads north towards Tanjung Benoa.
I visited one to see what was on offer. The one I chose was CV. Arta Niaga and is located on the southern half of the road on the left side heading north. Another place which has figured out that a big sign is worth investing in, the actual office is tiny. I spoke to a staff member who told me they are open 7am-9pm.
Daily rental rates are:
Suzuki Jimmy 125,000rp
Definitely bargain whichever place you go to. A good thing to do is walk around the vehicle and snap some digital photos, just in case your version of how you picked up the car differs from the guy who rents it.
CV. Arta Niaga is located 100 meters north of the Conrad hotel.
