Where were you the evening the bombing happened? What were you doing?
We closed at 10.30pm on that night instead of 1am, everybody was feeling tired, myself and my staff. I think the Gods made us tired so we would leave. I was at home in Denpasar 10km away. My former business was 10 meters from the Sari Club and was totally destroyed.
Did you know anyone who died or was injured? When was the last time you saw them?
A few Australians. My friends, 4 brothers were killed. I saw them that night for dreadlocks.
What did you do in the days following the bombing?
Too much stress thinking about our business. The government doesn’t help much but we’re lucky we’re alive.

The economy is very bad all around Bali right now. I hope it will come back.
What would you like to say to the people who did this?:
I’m very angry. I can’t believe there’s a bomb in Bali.
What would you say to tourists considering coming to Bali?:
Come back next time there won’t be another bomb. Bali people check very well now. We send many e-mails to people in Europe. Balinese people just work for tourism.
