To maximize ur trip and to assure the most waves just stay on Bali. So many differnt breaks to surf. Stay in Kuta and you can bounce back and forth from east side (nusa dua) to west side (kuta) depending on time of day and wind. You can go north a bit and surf canggu. Oh ya. The bukit. lots of wave, uluwatu, padang-padang, green balls, dreamland, binggan, etc. Stay in Kuta for the nightlife, the food and no malaria. Dont waste money on a boat to another island unless ur sure your gonna get waves. Make sure to check incoming swells and bring lots of bintang.
