Finally after days of tiny waves we have a small swell starting to show out at Uluwatu………………………
Well the past week its been pretty small with not to much on offer out on the Bukit Peninsula………………….but the beachies especially in the Pad Ma region have been keeping the boys quite happy with a nice lefthander producing some nice long fun rides……………..
Today one of the local boys from Uluwatu Wayan Gobleg called to inform me that the waves were starting to pick up and that the OM bali pro reunion contest was underway with some great surfing from all competitors, but the man who ripped all the way to the final and came out on top was Aussie ripper Terry Richardson from the N.S.W south coast.
We do expect to have some sort of improvement in the next few days so lets keep the fingers crossed ………………this is Paul Callahan reporting for Byron Bay surfboards in Bali indonesia

Surf Report
Swell is on the up with a considerable increase in wave height today.
We had a slight onshore wind this morning , on the other side of the island Serangan had 4 to 5 feet waves with just a few surfers out enjoying some great PUNCHY waves. Uluwatu had some good swell but due to the swirling wind this morning conditions were a bit messy.
Bingin was 3 feet maybe a bit bigger on the sets but as the day progreessed and the tide dropped off the wave faces cleaned up offering some nice drops and tight tubes
Today all the boys had some fun zippy little peaks down at halfway on Kuta beach the waves around 3 feet the crowds not to bad and as the sun began to set the wind backed off providing some very glassy conditions.

P.S We have a grunty sizeable swell on the way due tommorrow and tuesday they have forcast some waves for the Pipe of Indonesia Padang - Padang

Thanks for the report Paul. Enjoy yourself if you get the chance, I know Padang Padang isn’t your favourite but maybe Bingin will be soon.

Surf report
Today we have a slight increase in swell and it is looking like the waves will be good for the weekend.
Well this morning we were greeted to some fun zippy walls at Balangan catching the incoming tide we had the place to ourselves for just over an hour at around the 3 to 4 feet mark.
Also Uluwatu was producing some nice racey waves but the crowd was all over it early , too small for Padang and Bingin but the beach breaks in Kuta and Legian had a few little waves on the high tide.
Okay so this weekend we should have not huge waves but it is predicted to be hovering around the four to five feet mark untill Sunday or Monday morning thats it for me today this is Paul Callahan reporting for Byron Bay surfboards .
