Surf report June 18th

With the new moon on the 17th, the swell is still hold up there and it might pick up again all through the weekends.

Today the waves is slightly bigger than yesterday. Legian beach start to close out on the bigger set. We’re talking 4 ft wave with strong power. Unfortunately the wind is on shore this morning in Legian (West coats). By noon, the wind switch offshore and with the tide going out, Ulus, Balangan, Airport left and right are the spots.
Can’t wait to see how big the swell tomorrow. Sleep early (I’m talking to myself)

High tide at 10 am and low tide

Today’s surf report
West coats
Ulu : 3 – 5 ft
Padang : 2 – 3 ft
Balangan : 2 – 4 ft
Airport right: 2 – 4 ft
Airport left : 3 – 4 ft
Kuta reef : 2 – 4 ft
Kuta beach: 3 – 4 ft
Jayakarta : 3 – 4 ft
Canggu : 3 – 5 ft

Hi nick, I’m coming to Bali next week. We will be staying in Legian for 3 weeks (Puri Tantra). My girlfriend wants to learn surf, I said no problem but do you think Legian beach is a good spot for beginers? I wouldn’t want heavy conditions for her to start if you know what I mean… What kind of waves can we expect for the up coming weeks? (more or less)
Thanks man, and thank you for your articles too.

Nick.
