Surf report for April 30th in Bali

Today we still have a good deal of swell the direction is much the same as yesterday but not quite as pushy and the swell is a lot cleaner but a little smaller.

Uluwatu has a clean wave sweeping down the point breaking at around 1 to 2 metres with the peak being the pick spot for quality waves.

Padang-Padang has a 1 metre wave on the sets but you will have to sit out some lengthy lulls.

Bingin has a very full wave this morning with about a 1 to 1.5 metre swell, the best time to hit it will be on the out going tide this afternoon which should offer some fun medium size barrels.

Dreamland is producing some challenging waves this morning with a 1 to 2 mtere swell as the tide backs off the waves will get a little smaller.

Balangan early this morning was breaking for a few hundred yards but some sections where just too fast as the swell backs off it could turn on as the pick spot for the sunset session.

Kuta reef has 1 to 1.5 metre wave although the crowd is thick when the sets hit there is a few tubes and some great sections winding down the reef.

Airport lefts is breaking at 1 to 2 metres the take off is very sucky and the waves are a little short but still heaps of FUN.

This is Paul Callahan reporting for Byron Bay surfboards on the Bukit Peninsula, Bali, Indonesia.
