Here is the latest surf report from Australian pro surfer Paul Callahan, owner of Byron Bay Surfboards.
Today we have a nice clean swell happening on most of the Bukit peninsula, starting with Uluwatu we have a solid 2-21/2 metre swell the prime time for the best waves being around mid afternoon on the out going tide Padang-Padang has a small but very hollow wave breaking at around 1 metre, Impossibles is offering some hollow and speedy sectionswith some very long long rides the swell size is 2 metres the best time being on the dead low tide.
Today I was lucky enough to get a few fun tube rides at Bingin which was breaking at about 1metre with the occasional bigger set hitting on the out going tide,Dreamland looked a little shifty but was hitting around the 2 metre mark and will be best for the sunset session late afternoon as the tide pushes back in.
Around the corner to Balangan we have a solid 2 metre wave with some racey fast sections, moving along to the Kuta and Airport reef area we have a 1-11/2 metre swell with some great waves sweeping along Kuta reef but the crowd is alittle busy be patient and you will be rewarded with some tubey long rides.
This is Paul Callahan reporting from the Bukit Peninsula Bali Indonesia.
