Here is the latest surf report from Australian pro surfer Paul Callahan, owner of Byron Bay Surfboards.
Today we have great waves at nearly every location on the Bukit Peninsular.
Uluwatu the swell direction is a little more from the west which is hitting Ulu’s at a better angle than yesterday but the current is very strong sweeping down the point towards Padang. There is a 2 metre wave on the sets.
Impossible’s will have some long rides as the tide drops to low this afternoon probably around 1 to 1.5 metres.
Bingin this morning I surfed some fun waves at day break at around 1 metre but today the local boys are attacking every ripple competing in the Volcom junior series which will be running just for the day.
Okay moving down from Bingin to Dream Lands we have some rather punchy waves with the best waves to be had on the out going tide breaking at about 1and 1.5 metres.
Around the corner at Balangan its around 1 to 2 metres offering some fast zippy walls, moving along to the Kuta reef and Airports lefts and rights area these reefs are best suited on a mid to high tides with a swell height of 1 to 1.5 metres so today midday would be the best time to catch it pumping.
Thats it for me today I’m off for a late afternoon splash at Impossibles for the sunset session this is Paul Callahan reporting.

Is it true you replace any of your byron bay boards that break? that sounds great if it’s true. is there some kind of guarantee?
