Surf Report 7-29-03

We had a beautiful sunny day today, with a light offshore wind and a great bit of swell marching in along the reefs out on the Bukit Peninsula .

Early this morning the wind seemed to be swirling around creating tricky conditions and putting a little bump on the wave faces ,but as the morning progressed things started to happen as the wind swung to straight offshore and the waves really turned up the heat.

Uluwatu was again very crowded and with a healthy 4 to 5 feet of swell it spread the packs out and gave all the crew out some fun waves .

Impossibles was firing up today best on the lower tide wave height was 3 to feet conditions pristine with a few very long speedy walls winding down the reef.

Bingin was showing its true form offering some good take offs, tubes and some
great HOT DOGGY sections the waves only 3 feet with the occasional 4 footer sneaking through .
Also great to see the boys from Byron Bay out slipping into a few and swapping stories in between sets out at Bingin today.

Dreamland was breaking very consistenly all day wave size was 4 feet.

Balangin this spot nearly every day has some sort of wave and the crowds always pretty low key its has one of the most layed back beaches in Bali i have ever set foot on.

Once again thats all from me this is Paul Callahan reporting for Byron Bay Surfboards in Bali Indonesia.
