Surf Report 11/28/2003

Today we have a big increase in swell size ……………… but an onshore wind blowing on the Bukit peninsula and Kuta side of the island .

Nusa Dua point has a very solid swell pushing through with the sets breaking in the 6 to 8 feet range and the crowds very low…………………………….
Serangan is probably the pick spot with a nice off shore wind and some very fun peaks with the odd barrel to be snagged ……………………wave height on the in coming tide today was around the 5 feet mark although a few bigger ones sneaked past the big crowd ……………………………
The past week the wet season has well and truely made its present felt with buckets falling most nights ………………………reports are that the beachies in the Kuta region are absolutely full of plastic and also small amounts of dead fish!
Word is the local community and banjars are working on some sort of plan to combat this huge problem that not only Bali but the whole of Indonesia is facing!
Okay thats all from me this is Paul Callahan reporting for Byron Bay Surfboards in Bali Indonesia.
