Small waves on sunny Kuta Beach Bali on April 5th 2004

The sun was out, the wind was down and the waves were small at Kuta Beach today.

Kelly Slater might ont of had a good time today but for beginning surfers and people who just want to grab a board and go for it today was fun for sure.

I wandered down to Kuta Beach and chatted with Palu Waskiw about his big yellow surfboards and what they’re good for. Palu makes boards aimed at beginners and people who want fun over action.
