Interview with Ebong from Magic Wave

Magic Wave is a surf community newspaper that I published in Bali. Their office is located on the 2nd floor of the now deserted, Legian Arcade. This afternoon I stopped in their to talk with Ebong, a friend and surfer, who is now one of the main men at Magic Wave. Here’s what Ebong had to say. Ebong has such terrific pronounciation. I wish I could roll my ‘R’s like that.

Magic Wave is free, and comes out monthly. You can find it at surf shops, certain cafes and warungs. They try really hard to promote the ‘grommets’ (young kids) and also any Bali surf contest. Here is a look at some of the major surf contests going on in 2006 including here in Bali. As you might notice, there is a surf contest this Sunday, April 30th at Keramas (heading out to East Bali).
