japanese_surfing113005.jpgBeach Girls as applied to Bali are the equivalent of Beach Boys, the surfer community. Kuta Beach is where most of the beginning surfers start out and you can see the beach girls hanging under the trees, or catching a wave. Japanese beach girls often come decked out in expensive surf wear made by Billabong, Rip Curl or Quiksilver. They are fearless in the water and the body / boogie board I often their weapon of choice. Forgetting there is a difference between Bali and Tokyo, the Japanese beach girls often look cooked after a long day in the sun. You can spot a Japanese beach girl in Kuta because of the tan lines on their legs.

They have a preference for reef booties while surfing the Bukit and that leaves an obvious tanning mark. Japanese beach girls don't usually go for western guys. They close in on a drink vendor or surfboard renter and that will be home base for them, a good low-key environment to get to know Bali boys.
