Diane and I were hoping to see the sunset from our beachside vantange point at La Cabana. Today is got rather cloudy in the afternoon and we quickly realized sunset was not really going to happen the way we hoped.
March is the end of the wet season and even though there are occassional storms, the average rainfall from the month is way less than in January or February. On Jl. Benesari in Kuta and outside Bintang supermarket in Seminyak, there were large puddles today. I watch out for passing taxis and trucks after getting splashed a couple of weeks ago. During this time of year I notice some awful potholes appearing. Jl. Benesari is a moonscape of potholes.

Kuta’s weather today was cloudy and overcast. I went out in the morning, midday and late afternoon and felt a few drops of rain, but nothing else. I expect we might get a shower late tonight as it humid right now at 8pm.
I’m at Internet Outpost in Kuta and have a poncho inside my bike. Short sleeves, shorts and sandles are the go for wet season.
