Bali’s weather is second to none and a look at the 10 day weather forecast, shows we have almost a clear run of dry weather coming up.
The most recent weather events have been the big waves of course and the increase in wind. July is known to be the windy month, with Balinese locals flying massive kites. Looking around my neighborhood I see some small homemade kites already up there.
Still expect showers in the higher elevations, such as Kintamani, Bedugal and Batukaru, but down by the beach its nothing but rays. Try knocking back a electrolyte drink a couple of times a day, water alone won’t do in this heat. Also older women visitors often stroll around in summer frocks, seemingly oblivious to their shoulders, back and neck getting cooked. You might want to take it easy on your first few days here when out in the sun. Nothing wrong with buying a cheap umbrella and being comfortable.
