UK woman arrested with cocaine in Bali

A UK woman has been arrested in Bali in possession of cocaine. This is the latest in a seemingly endless line of people, who get lulled into going over the line.

Anyone who has visited Bali knows the scene, Indonesian men, hang around bars and nightclubs offering all things illegal’. Their friendly, relaxed demeanor, could possibly lead a newcomer beleive that it a bit of a lark, hush hush and no worries. Its not a lark, its a trap. Why do you think people get caught shortly after they buy small packets of drugs? The guy who sold it to them, told the cops.

On a daily basis, when I walk down Jl. Legian, Jl. Dhyana Pura or the beach, I get people coming up to me saying “Hey Boss, you want ecstacy, cocaine marijuana?” By the way, I hear about expats on a regular basis, who also get nabbed. Do yourself a massive favour, eat, drink, be merry, but do not touch drugs in Bali.

Amazing Nick … its as if people are blind and deaf and dont know whats gone on b4 them …Corby, the Bali 9 etc .

I know one thing Nick i wouldnt even take a drag of a joint/spliff if offered.

The phrase is called entrapment and goes on a lot in Thailand. There are many a poor soul rooting in the Big Tiger aka Bang Kwang Maximun Security prison through a seconds mistake. For anyone who is intersted just go to Foreign Prisoners Support and read the horror stories there….you will never go near drugs in a foreign country….well apart from Amsterdam that is.

Over and OUT

Nick & Mark, Merry Christmas.

Don’t you think you are both being typically nasty know it all expatriates? How do young people know they are going to entraped by drug pushers under the employ of the local bent plod if no-one tells them? Isn’t more fair to say that when you visit any country there are always narcotics warnings but very few countries have street sellers every few yards to give the impression it is tollerated? I hope you can think again about your “I’m so clever ’cause I know and these dummies deserve it” attitudes and show you are human beings by a) complaining to your governments about what goes on in Bali and b) finding a police officer and take them to where the street sellers are and ask them to arrest them. Surely, anything else makes you as guilty as the mafia police and their pet Laskar?
