Torrential rain & nice waves in Kuta Bali

Last night I awoke at around 2am to a blast from the past. Torrential rain hammered the roof and its was great to hear. Today my garden nicely watered, the hot sun already. We need more rain and looking at the Bali weather forecast, we are not going to get it.

A friend called me to help snap a few photos on Kuta beach, and conditions for learning to surf could not of been better. There was virtually no wind, a small swell and bright sunshine. Definitely ’surfer soup’ on Kuta Beach, but apart from the locals, nobody knows how to ride. Good fun and a great place to learn to surf.
