Today is saturday and most people in Bali have to work. Sunday however is definitely a day off for most people. You can tell by the amount of traffic on the roads. I could do all kinds of things on sunday (besides write for Baliblog). Here are the top 10 things I could do on sunday.
1. Go down the street to a hotel and use their pool.
2. Go to Nusa Dua (Pantai Geger) and enjoy the safe swimming beach.
3. Take a cruise in the mountains / around Ubud.
4. Go to a quiet beach on the Bukit, Padang Padang / Balangan etc.
5. Go down to Stadium Cafe in Tuban, watch sports, eat burgers and drink beer.
6. Visit a local market in Denpasar.
7. Have a bbq at my house.
8. Workout and enjoy a fruit juice at the beach.
9. Take Jevon to the small beach playgorund at Blue Ocean and have lunch.
10. Sleep all day.
All activities would include Ika nad Jevon, apart from maybe #5, where a group of roudy Aussies might work better. I reckon all options are good. I do like exploring and bbq’ing (not my feet), but somtimes don’t have the energy and the pool down the street seems the best option.
