Skype a pain in my Bali ass

Everyone out there know what Skype is? Its a program that allows you to chat online (VOIP) and all that jazz. Great idea, but being around Skype users isn’t easy.

Right now I’m sitting in an internet cafe and a guy from ‘overseas’ is yelling into his head set. I’m 30 ft away and every time he gets excited, it feels like he’s talking to me. Everyone else in here is pretty much in the same boat. Cell phones got a bad rap, but this thing is worse, partly because interenet cafes are supposed to be quiet.

I’m watching some German guys, who are packing up and leaving, clearly worn out by this guy’s relentless hollering. The girls are just as bad. I heard one boasting to her friends back home, how little she pays her staff, and how much she gets for her eBaY goods.

Maybe I should pull a Borat, and get into a fictious conversation, dropping all kinds of politically incorrect comments. Ah, why bother, I already do that on Baliblog.
