Ronnie Ramsey, the bother of famous Scottish chef Gordon Ramsey was in Denpasar District Court today. Ronnie was caught by police a few months ago in Tuban with a wee baggie of ‘brown sugar’. Looking at a possible 10 years in Kerobokan jail he was desperately hoping for a miracle. Today he heard the prosecution’s sentencing demands and while it wasn’t a miracle, he has to be relieved.
According to ABC News, Ronnie Ramsey will be sentenced with 14 months in jail, if he is found guilty of possessing 100mg of heroin. Kerobokan jail is not such a scary place and his time inside might give him the chance to contemplate his future, though not necessarily escape from drugs.

Perhaps Gordon Ramsay could teach the prison cooks to know the difference between brown grain rice and maggots.
