If you like cloth shoulder bags and bead necklaces, there is a place in Legian that has what you are looking for. R.Diya, located on Jl. Pura Bagus Taruna (Jl. Werkudara, the street that joins the Jayakarta and Jl. Legian) has a selection of brightly colored, casual shoulder bags and a wide selection of necklaces. In the back of the shop, a member of staff was sitting with a large bowl of beads, making a necklace. For sure you can find necklaces all over, and this shop has a great selection, ranging from beads, to beads with coconut, or shells. Some have silver too.
The staff told me one of those long ags would cost 33,000rp and the bracelets ranged from 5,000rp – 40,000rp. Plenty of room for negotiation for sure.
