Rainy spell coming to Bali

Lovely sunny day today in Seminyak Bali, the sky is blue and the sun is fierce. Ika and I took Jevon for an immunization this morning in Denpasar, for 145,000rp at the Puri Bunda hospital. He hollered for about a minute then wanted to play with the elevator buttons.

Last night at a little ayam bakar (grilled chicken) shack in Seminyak (great place down Gang Plawa, with a sign saying ‘Ayam Bakar’), we had finished eating and Jevon said “Mau lihat lihat hujan (I want to look at the rain). We had no idea it was raining but quickly got ready to leave and made it home about a minute before a massive downpour.

The 10 day weather forecast for Bali indicates a storm front closing in. Most likely the weather will be wet for the next few days, with sunny patches in between.
