Jevon’s new haircut: Little bugger looks Japanese!

While I was drinking beer and tapping away at a downtown internet cafe in Ubud, Ika was secretly getting getting Jevon a haircut. He needed one, but he got the ‘full meal deal’ with his hair taken right down to the wood.

The little bugger has some Chinese in his blood, Ika’s mother being half Chinese. Looking at his new shaven head, brown eyes and Asian look, I declared ‘he looks Japanese’. Funny thing was in the next 24 hours, we got stopped by several Japanese people, who wanted to check Jevon out, including a group in Monkey Forest, and a couple of girls in our guest house. Jevon doesn’t really look like either Ika or myself, and with his new head, I’m sure he resembles some Asian people’s relatives.
