Jailhouse romance ( I was going to use another title, but didn’t have the cojones) is possible in Bali. The lovely Schapelle Corby, was the object of affection for one jailbird, the ecstasy loving, Tjin ‘Eddy’ Yu.
Schapelle, no doubt bummed that remissions ain’t gonna happen, still managed to get it together enough, to dazzle the jailed surfing instructor. Said Eddy “”She’s beautiful. What normal red-blooded guy would not want her?” Fair enough, though I reckon after spending 6 months in Kerobokan, mixing with those tattooed, toothless Sumatrans, and their herd of Muslim relatives, Schapelle Corby’s mother would look attractive.

Nick, do you really think that an indonesian guy would use the words “red blooded guy”. I don’t think so. Have you ever thought the story could just be more crap. I read the whole artical and it is full of lies and incorrect facts. THe reporter and magazine who ran this story are a disgrace.
so are you for posting so much crap and putting down Schapelle’s mother. What does your mum look like? And I bet she is under the same pressure that Schapelle’s mum is under. Shame on you for being so heartless.

I agree with Dewi, the articles written about a so called romance between Schapelle and Eddy are just garbage. Eddy has been transfered to a different jail now but it was alleged that they were having a relationship in April 2005. That was the time when she was not yet aware of how her sentencing could go. She was not out of the clear in terms of recieving the death penalty or a life sentence. Do you really think she was interested in creating a relationship in jail with so stress in her life??
To add to what Dewi has said, Eddy, is a Javanese man who is fairly uneducated. He would not use such words as “gravitate.”
Eddy and Schapelle were friends, nothing more. No where in the article did Eddy say that they had a romantic relationship those foolish conclusions were drawn by a reporter hard up for something to write about. So hard up that he would pose as a drug rehab worker to gain access inside the prison…shameful.
Why was she pregnancy tested and he was sent to another prison?I have seen ‘mum’ close up;oh dear;what a looker not.
