This evening I went to a smart looking internet cafe on Jl. Benesari (12,000rp / hour). After 40 minutes, I was unable to send 1 email via Yahoo. Amazing how bad some of the internet access is on this island.
Now back in Seminyak, at least I can move ahead with what I’m doing. In the cafe I’m currently using, a girl is ‘loudspeakering’ on Skype to her boyfriend (there were flying ants on her porch this afternoon, then giant geckos came out to eat them, her mother is arriving in 3 days, and she has to get the place ready…).
Be patient if you go online in Bali.
