Indonesian VP Jusuf Kalla, said on tuesday that more terrorist bombs in Indonesia are unlikely. This is a great news for those of us who live here.
Mr Kalla pointed out the JI (Jemaaah Islamiyah) bomb builder Azahari was shot some months ago and Noordin Top, his sidekick, is being hunted by anti-terror police. I read just the other day, that police were called to a village in Java, when locals reported strange men in a house. Obviously there is not widespread support for the terrorists and the police are on shoot to kill orders.
A couple of the Bali Bomb I plotters, are currently finding out what a paradise the Philippines is, with 5,000 army soldiers hunting them. These are good things, and mean JI’s ability set up large scale attackswill be severly hindered.

Wish I could beleive this self-interested VP.
After all, making a bomb is pretty easy - you can find instructions on the internet. Hunting the guys who did it in the past doesn’t eliminate the extremist element and the message they want to deliver.
