Heading to Candi Dasa on Saturday
Saturday morning I will be off to Candi Dasa, in Karangasem, East Bali. Karangasem is one of my favourite parts of Bali and Candi Dasa can be a good base for the region.
This evening I met up with Barrie, Candika and Barrie’s mother Yvonne, in Kuta. We ate at a small place on Benesari, the female staff fluttering around Barrie like chicks to rooster. Barrie’s family are all staying at the Prawita in Kuta, and the swimming pool (The Gene Pool), has already seen some attention, with Barrie sunning himself while getting to know a model from Melbourne, who lays topless floating on the sunbed. Would you believe Barrie has a disposable underwater camera! I’m not kidding.
The ride to Candi Dasa will take maybe 90 minutes - 2 hours depending on how fast I go. From there the whole day is full of possibilities.

Oh and regarding Barrie i bet it didnt take him long to get to know the models vital measurements and interests…eh Barrie !
