Garuda to expand Perth routes
Garuda Indonesia, the national carrier, is to expand it service between Perth-Jakarta and Perth-Bali.
Garuda’s decision to do away with Bali as a second hub, to Jakarta next year, doesn’t make much sense. It especially hurt the eastern Australian market for Bali. On the good side, as eTravelBlackBoard reports, are 2 more flights a day between Perth and Bali / Jakarta.
The increase in flights will bring Garuda’s weekly passenger capacity from perth to Indonesia to 2352. The new flights and schedules will start on December 10th, and make it easier for Perth residents to take Garuda flights to other destinations, including Thailand, Japan, China and Singapore.
Garuda flight schedule:
GA727 Perth-Denpasar 0800 – 1135 ( as current)
GA726 Denpasar-Perth 1240 – 1620 (revised timings)
New daily flights:
GA731 Perth-Jakarta 1720 – 2045
GA730 Jakarta-Perth 0115 – 0630
