A hot, overcast, sweaty afteroon in Seminyak Bali, was followed by a torrential downpour. At 5pm ‘boom’ went the sky and down came the rain. The time is 6pm as I’m typing this, sitting streetside at Bestest Cafe, on Jl. Dhyana Pura in Seminyak.
The temperature has dropped probably several degrees C, and it feels wonderful. The great thing about downpours in the tropics, is there is often no wind, meaning you can sit at an open restaurant, with an overhanging roof and not get wet.
How is this going to affect our trip to East Bali besok (that’s ‘manana’ for you Mexicano’s)?
