Day after Christmas in Bali

Christmas Day passed without incident here in Bali. I spent the day at an internet cafe, while family and friends did their thing. My neighborhood is quiet, many expats from Europe probably staying at home with family.

Christmas Day was cloudy and steamy. Taking the dust-covered Kijang back to Jl. Benesari in Kuta, I paid an extra 180,000rp for the 2 days that got added on to my rental. Jl. Benesari is surfer-central, with cheap guest houses, pizza joints, board shops and car hire places. Most of the car hire places were full of cars, meaning few customers.
