Lovina on the north coast of Bali is a much different experience than busy Kuta. The villages that connect to form Lovina (Kaliasem, Kalibukbuk, Banyualit, Anturan, Tukad Munga and Pemaron) lie between the main road and the beach. One traveller found a moonlight walk on the beach to be quite a sight.
John M. Edwards aided by Bir Bintang night vision goggles, thought he saw a beautiful woman swimming in the ocean. Diving in head first, he found to his surprise it was something less easy to catch. Here’s a story from BootsnAll’s Indonesia stories section.
