Baliblog readers join us for a good time

Laura from Australia (with a strong N. Ireland twang) is in Bali and not doubt will be creating havoc in the Legian area by now. I will see Laura and her husband Mickey besok (that’s tomorrow in Indo) for a road trip. Ika almost did a backflip when she heard she was going for a ride!

Tuesday evening we will be exploring the local culture of one of Sanur’s finest establishment, namely the Cat & Fiddle Pub. This joint is owned by Mark Wilson OBE, honorary British Consul, who along with his twin brother, entertains with Anglo / Irish tunes (Waltzing Matilda can be requested. Don’t know about Piano Man).

Irish music night is a fun event, attracting a handful of local expats and European tourists. The food is pretty good too, myself usually going for the Irish bangers & mash. If you’re in Bali and would like to join us, we’ll be there from 7pm onwards.
