Bali: What does Wikipedia say about it

Wikipedia is one on my favourite sites on the web. I doubt if there is a content site anywhere, with as much useful factual info. Today I typed in ‘Bali’ to see what Wikipedia could come up with.

Wikipedia broke down Bali into a basic overview, then History, Geography, Administration, Demographics, Economy, Religion, Language, Culture, Further Reading.

At the bottm of the page were links to descriptions of the regencies of Bali and to descriptions of the provinces of Indonesia. I though the article contained a lot of data. The ultimate ego trip would be typing in your own name and having Wikipedia tell you al about yourself.

Hi there,

Booked to visit Bali for two weeks in January. Having second thoughts after reading all the warnings from the Aust Govt travel site. Realise you can get bombed in the UK too but what with bombings, Asian flu, Schapelle Corby help I need some local/recent traveller assurance. Really want to go. Thanks
