The weekend is almost here and expats will be looking to hit the beach and enjoy the warm water. This weekend its beach weather all the way with sunshine predicted and highs of 30C. Last night I had dinner at Ultimo, an Italian restaurant on Jl. Oberoi with Terry & Rod from Melbourne. They commented that the weather was absolutely perfect. Sitting outside at 10pm in Ultimo’s garden, listening to the live band and enjoying the affordable meal, Rod told me I really don’t know how good I’ve got it. He reckoned I should leave Bali for a while to get a reality check.
We still have cool mornings and evenings and I’m sure when the humidity moves in, sometime around the end of October, everyone will be longing for the dry season again.
