Bali weather: June 11th 2007

Monday morning here in Seminyak Bali, grey skies loom over head. This means a break from the storing sun and cooler temperatures. Night time temperatures are pleasant and one can sleep with just a fan.

We haven’t had heavy rain for a while though some quick showers come along. Looking at the 10 day weather forecast for Bali, we see Thursday & Friday (June 14th-15th) is tipped for more rain. Don’t let that panic you f you are coming out on holiday. Tropical showers are often fast and furious, lasting an hour or so.

Hi Nick

You seem to know a lot about the weather. I am thinking of getting married in Bali in late October or on 3 or 10 November of this year. Do you think that it will rain a lot then - or more importantly do you think my guests would still have a good time or would weather then just be too much of a negative. I have visited in April and it was very hot and sunny and another time in August and it was mainly overcast and bit rainy.

November is the start of the wet season. Not saying it will rain all day, or even everyday. You are looking at mostly sunny days, with morning and evening showers.

I’d say go for it. The hardest thing for your guests will be the humidity, not the instances of rain.
