Bali weather: Jan 15th 2007

Bali is enjoying a light wet season this year. Gone are the twice daily deluges, in are the sunny skies and occasional shower. We have been getting those showers mostly late at night.

Last night I went to get Ika some sate (satay), around 8pm and was caught in a quick, shower. It was cool, sheltering under the side of a building with the other locals, waiting for their sate. A downpour can be a nice experience, if you relax and enjoy the moment, instead of agonizing about being late / wet.

The sate made it home okay and the shower quit. This morning we had a 20 minute shower around 9.30am. I was wearing my Aussie hat, so didn’t mind taking a splash or two. Here is the 10 day weather forecast for Bali. If you are thinking of coming to Bali in the next few weeks, let me tell you, there is enough sunshine to cook a goose. You’ll love it!

We had dinner at Queen’s Tandoor, Indian restaurant, One of the good food in Asia. The givernment should promote Bali in India soi that more and more indians can come and enjoy bali and can experience Indian Cuisine at Queen’s Tandoor.
