If World Cup 2006 is of any interest to you (Australia is playing Brasil) then you might be interested in shopping for some ‘affordably priced soccer shirts’ (not saying there pirated, not saying they’re not, just saying they cost about $5). This afternoon I stepped into a shop on Poppies II, about 100 meters from the beach. The guy had a good selection, with everything from national shirts, to club shirts.
Among those I saw were Michael Ballack, Kaka, Messi, Ronaldinho, Adriano, Crespo, Viduka and Kewell. The vendor told me the asking price was 95,000rp. Give me a break! You could definitely get him down a lot and if you are really serious, go to Denpasar and buy 10. You can get them for around 35,000rp each.
