Wednesday afternoon I rode down to Blue Ocean beach at the end of Jl. Double Six for my last workout before being house bound for 24 hours. Blue Ocean beach was only partially busy due to the weather which was bright and cloudy, not exactly beach weather. In late afternoon many small businesses were closed and the Poppies Lane area, as well as Jl. Benesari and Jl. Bakungsari were in the process of closing up.
Bali Deli and Bintang and were doing tremendous business this afternoon and I picked a dozen Storm beers, a loaf of brown bread and a block cheddar. Circling around my neighborhood I ran into a banjar roadblock at Jl. Seminyak and Jl. Dhyana Pura. A group of banjar guys were already getting comfortable along the street and Balinese people were attending ceremonies at Pura Desa Seminyak across the road.
