Sea kayaking is a very fun activity, I used to do it in Kong Hong when I lived there. I haven't seen it in Bali but recently picked up a brochure of one company offering this service. Bali Sea Kayak Tours are based on Jl. Benesari in Kuta, close to Poppies Lane II.
Sea kayaking differs from river kayaking in that you are sitting onto top of the kayak in some respects instead of wrapped inside it. The sea kayaks are very stable and learning to paddle is straightforward. Bali Sea Kayak Tours offers 2 locations, Jimbaran Bay and Amuk Bay in East Bali.
Jimbaran Bay
This half-day tour is $39 and starts from a private beach. Experienced guides will take you and your family to explore caves, blowholes and limestone cliffs. Transport is included and there is a morning and afternoon session to choose from.
Amuk Bay
This Bay lies between Padangbai and Candi Dasa and features some great coral reefs, blowholes, and cliffs. Snorkeling is included, as is lunch at Blue Lagoon Beach.
