Pork is popular in other places as well as Bali

Pork is very popular here in Bali.

The Balinese dish is ‘Babi Guling’ (suckling pig) and the next favourite is ‘Lawar’ a mixture of pork fat, salt, spices and coconut.

I saw an article on BBC’s site about another place that loves pork.

G’Day Nick,

Good BBC article but, chocolate coated pork!. I mean, it’s an interesting combination but a clash for the palette. At least mine anyway!.

I’ll settle for the Babi Guling, heavily salted so the crackle is crisp!. Shit…mouth drooll time!

Hi Tracey,

Yeah I know them. Candika loves them and I ALWAYS end up taking at least 5 kilos over to her every time. But her latest is Dove chocolate. I don’t know if Cadbury’s make it or not. Anyway, the one I’m talking about is three layers of chocolate in varied degrees of flavour. Actually it’s quite moorish and, shall we say, ’stimulating’!!!.

Just to give you an idea of Candika’s sweet desire (besides me!), here is the list she sent me:

4×250gm Milky Bar
” Fruit & Nut
” Dove White Chocolate
” Dove Caramel
6 Turkish delight bars
6 Nougat & Peanut bars
12 French Nougat Bars

And that doesn’t include the Lay’s chips and M & M’s!!.
