People staying in Kuta have couple of places to look for tourist information. One is the Badung Tourist Office located at Jl. Raya Kuta 2 (0361) 756176 (Mon-Thurs 7am-2pm, Fri 7-11am). There is also another branch located on the beach road at Jl. Pantai Kuta (0361) 755660, (Mon-Sat 10am-5pm).

There are also a selection of free local publications including:

Bali Advertiser, printed in Kuta. This fortnighlty paper, focuses on expat news and items of interest.
Bali News, printed in Sanur. Somewhat similar to the Bali Advertiser with a slant on Sanur.
Beat Magazine, printed in Seminyak. Fortnightly. All about the best places to party in Kuta, Legian and Seminyak.
Bali Plus, a free pamphlet, a once a month list of festivals in Bali.
Whats Up? Bali, weekly events in local bars and clubs.
Bali Travel News, a glossy newspaper. Fortnightly articles on culture, temples, events and entertainment.
