Baku Dapa is a handy little warung located on Jl. Dhyana Pura in Seminyak. The place is no-frills, open right onto the street and can seat about 34 people. The food is mostly Indonesian and the menu is divided into Soups, Indonesian, Manadonese, Chinese, Western. I go for the Sop Buntut (oxtail soup which is usually pretty good, served with hot sambal and limes. Todays was greasy and felt like a bowl of Castrol oil, but hopefully next time will be better. Manado is a port town in northern Sulawesi, one of the largest islands in Indonesia. Manadonese specialities include Bubur Manado which is mixed vegetable porridge, Ayam Rica Rica which is Spicy chicken and Ayam Bumbu Hijau which is steamed green chicken with green chili sauce.
The average price of these is 15,000rp.
