Arrival in Bali
Bali lies in the middle of the Indonesian archipelago between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. It is the most popular tourist / traveler destination in Indonesia with approximately 1,200,000 visiting each year. The vast majority of these visitors arrive by plane at Ngurah Rai airport in Tuban in the south of the island. This airport is refered to as Denpasar by travel agents but is actually closer to Kuta Beach.
