Bali Peace Park, the personal crusade of Australian Dallas Finn, is moving in the right direction. The plan is for a garden to be built on the site of the former Sari Club, providing a place of peace and reflection.
The new website for Bali Peace Park details the people involved and also that the garden will be designed by Made Wijaya.
Dallas gave Baliblog an interview back in 2004 and I know it has not been easy dealing with red tape. The memorial in Kuta looks very nice after road and sidewalks were fixed up. The Paddy’s site is now a surf shop, so all that is left is the empty Sari Club site. We look forward to the day when the Bali peace Park is finished and open to the public.
